Don’t be alarmed or terrified, because the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”ĭon’t let fear stop you from taking a step of faith. God goes ahead of us, clearing the way for us to find joy and spiritual growth. Psalm 16:8, “I always put the Lord in front of me I will not stumble because he is on my right side.” The God who loves you has promised this to you. When life gets hard, stand strong, because God is with you! The reward we are working for is a heavenly one. James 1:12, "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him." When you commit your ways to God, he is busy working on your behalf! You can move ahead with confidence knowing that God is helping you with each new step. Psalm 37:5, "Commit your way to the Lord trust in him, and he will act." God and the angels in Heaven are cheering us on! Set aside sin and focus on Jesus as the one that supplies the endurance you need to live this life well. Hebrews 12:1-2, "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God." Our motivation should be honoring God not the praise of men. We don’t serve or work so we can win over others. Galatians 1:10, "For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ."Īll we do should be unto service to the Lord.
